This resto will be a snap. I think your wagon looks great, thank goodness it was out west and not on our east coast. Where did you pick it up? did you say and I missed it? If you haven't already, start a thread in the resto forum, we'll pick up over there. Four on the floor does sound like more fun then three on the tree. Welcome aboard from NS.
Thanks fannie, sorry, I don't think I did mention where it came from. From the research I have been trying to do, it originated from Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, from there it went to Red Deer Alberta, then to Macklin Saskatchewan, where I bought it from. The original dealership decal is still on the quarter panel. Surprisingly enough, the front floor pans are solid, the rears are soft, so I'm going to replace them, the rockers are solid as is the rear storage floor. Mostly the rust is the bottom 3 or 4 inches of the quarter panels and the bottom of the front fenders. I have ordered quarter panel patch panel sections for a 2 door hardtop, I will make them work with a little bit of creativity, the front quarter panel patches I will make the dog leg from and I will have to completely fabricate the inner wheel houses from scratch. I will do a build thread on here when I start on it in the fall. I've got a lot of driving and having fun this summer in it. And I tell ya, it is a blast with the 4 speed. It's the only '67 Chev wagon on the road in Saskatoon, and the only 4 speed wagon so far here too. I have a buddy that has a '65 Rambler wagon with a 401 and he has plans of putting a 4 speed in it. In the meantime and between time, I will keep posting the car events and such that I attend here in and around Saskatoon. Ken.
