    Thanks! That's the advice/opinions I'm taking about. I'm considering a new intake manifold so I can get rid of a lot of the emmisions junk. That paired with a 500 cfm carb shouldn't differ from my 13mpg milage should it??

    :Welcome:Malibu Kid. Makes me feel good to see younger members. Some of us have worried who is gonna take over after we wander to that great wagon train in the sky! Good luck with your Malibu and your dreams of building it your way.
    Like others have said, on this forum, everyone has their own ideas. Of course, we all like to see good clean cars restored or cleaned up. But no one seems to mind members making a custom or hotrod as long as the wagon stays out of the junk yards and demo derbys. :clap:
    Our youngest son is 22 and been workin on the little red wagon since he was 1 1/2!
