Even though it's cloudy, thunderboomin, and been rainin some, it's still 100+. The big ole black crows out front look like they are trying to remove some of their top feathers. :whew:

In Ottawa (45.4214 N, 75.6919 W) it's 92 Farenheit in the shade today (33.4 Celsius for those on the metric system).

It's a myth that Canada is a cold country! (well, maybe not in summer at least ...) :yup:

I'm not sure that even Alaska is cool right now. I'm, also pretty sure I saw.on the news footage of penguins suddenly exploding and bursting into flames.

My nice clean red truck sits under the carport waiting to go to town tomorrow to pick up drugs then leave Sunday for 1000 mile ride again. ------Clarify that. Drug store drugs for old people!
But, again, it is thunderboomering loudly and the power blinked. In minutes I may go off line!
Back where we want to go they are in a dry spell and the farmers have lost many crops.

We can't remember what rain is! Very unusual for Wisconsin. It is dry and brown here! I have never seen it like this.

A farmer friend near Peoria, Ill said southern Illinois was declared a disaster area for farming. It sure was brown the last week of June. I'll find out again next week.
We had lots of loud thunder again today but no rain yet. But we've got lots of green grass and weeds. I think some of your mosquetos flew down here to get a drink.

We got up today and it was supposed to be in the low 90s. It was technically 91 when we left home. We got as far as a local coffee shop and it started to rain a little. We were there for about 15 minutes when a nearby, LOUD bolt of lightning knocked out the power. We were all asked to leave. Store policy. It was pouring out by then. By the time we got a block away it was raining so hard we couldn't see very far and we couldn't get more soaked. Poor Zoe. Her umbrella wasn't doing it's job. We got home and there wasn't any power. My boots were full of rain. I loved it. Zoe, not so much. HOORAY FOR RAIN... but BOO on the power outage. We got power back though.

Some store policies stink. I wouldn't turn a wet dog out in a rain storm.

Siverfox you need to call some of those Wisconsinitian Indians to do a rain dance. The real ones dance nude and beat drums and goardes filled with beads. You can often find them working in small clubs with pictures of a pole and dancer on the window.

Those are the terrorist penguins. Although I'm not exactly sure why Penguins are turning into terrorists. Protesting against global warming, maybe?

Nah....they sacrifice themselves. They let sharks swallow them and then blow them up. Sometimes the bombs go off prematurely. :rofl2:
