Depends on the derby, I think. They were allowed in ours until recently. People gobbled up every Imperial they could get their hands on around here.
Very nice! Good luck finding a parking space large enough for it. In proper tune, pointing one of these cars to the west and flooring the gas pedal actually speeds up the earth's rotation just a tad.

Hey Nitoh...how did you find a car repair place that you can trust here in the USA since you are in Germany? Do you have a friend in Houston? Have there been some of your friends in Germany that have visited here and found certain places that are reliable? It's hard enough to find a good, reliable and honest mechanic shop when you LIVE here.
A friend of mine, Marc, lives sometimes in Houston and sometimes in Germany, he have the conection to the car center (Meineke Car Care Center in Spring/TX) He buys old cars in USA and ships the cars to Germany. Here is Marc´s website: http://www.estatewheels.com/
On Marc´s website you can find another 71 Imperial, here is the little story: 5 days after I´ve bought my blue 71er Imperial, I find another one on ImperialClub.com. A 71 Imperial with Paisley Top, I never seen this before. Money was gone, so I cant buy the car. A tell a friend of mine (Marc) about the Paisley Top Imperial, he bought it and here is the story at the webside from my friend, about the Top and the car:http://www.estatewheels.com/Imperialmod.php
