It's amazing to me that you should mention that. I have thought the same thing, especially regarding the grilles and how the body crease goes along and comes to a point at the front. When I loaded these pics in my gallery I mentioned that they look like they are "kin".
sweet...a bunch more Fords and our places would look similair im joking...my garage hasnt ever been that clean
Thanks. We will. My wife says she remembers riding in it with her dad when she was a little girl. It's kinda cool that I got my Dad's car, the Fury (grandpa's before that) and now we have her Dad's car, the Ranchero.
That is so totally cool! You both must just feel great when you see those parts of your lives in that garage together. So cool! David
That is VERY, VERY cool! No one in the family can rag on you for spending money on either of THOSE cars!
Did you say "more Fords"? Decided to get the Bronco out of Winter Hibernation. An over cast day is great for washing a rig. Course, it can also mean it's gonna rain.... as soon as you git done washin.
Oh, come now, I'm just preaching the gospel of the Blue Oval. The Bronco belonged to my wife's Aunt and Uncle for years. Maybe 6 years ago her Dad bought it from them. It's been an ongoing project since. We just upgraded to power steering and disc brakes last summer. Her dad drives it a couple times a summer and then it's up to me after that.
How very very sad for you Orth. All those darned "hand me downs" while your friends all get to go out and buy brand new cars, pour out thousands of dollars on them, and then trade them in for new ones with the latest and greatest. And there poor you and your wife are with these old cars that you can fix yourself, are cheap to insure (relatively if you'll pardon the pun), and you aren't paying every month just for the priviledge of having them on your driveway. How does it feel to have it "MADE"?
