Tony if your Q-jet has been rebuilt but the bushings for the butterflies are worn, base plate on the carb is warped it will drive you nuts you never said if it was a 2bbl or 4 bbl if it's a 4 bbl here is a holly spreadbore that will work. I can't remeber where I seen it posted.

Tony, If your close to Bristol, TN there is a place called Kelley's Corner. He is an old Studebaker mechanic, but he works on Chevys too. He called me about a Chevy part once and seems like a real nice guy. He's also listed in Hemmings Motor News.

Thanks Bill. I am in Bristol! :) Wonder if he makes house calls? lol. Sure would save a tow bill back and forth.

I have never heard of that place, but I will look into it. My other uncle said he may know someone. I asked him about it this evening when he was by showing off his wifes brand new Jetta and he also asked if they installed the cam right. They had better!

    I found his address:

    22 14th St

Ahha. It would have to be free or you would not be happy with it. ;)

Ah, thanks Bill. I know where that street is... I work about a mile from there. Its close to downtown. I do remember my grandfather speaking of a old man that worked on Studebakers on that street. The irony is that street is only one block away from where my dad bought my first car in 1992... a 1972 Cadillac. :)

Bright side is.... if something happens I dont get it running right, I have some prospects on a couple of trades...

One is another wagon... 1972 Pontiac Grand Safari 3-seat wagon, which is one of my favorite wagons!

The other is a 1972 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham.... another one on my favorite list.

Hopefully though I can get my wagon up to spec. Going to do a vacuum test soon.
