That ice-truck is cool. In fact everything here lately has been real cool. Keep warm and keep posting cool things.
It's even a cool 35 degrees here. Twenties tonight ! That ain't kool for Florida! I don't care what anyone says, anything under 75 degrees is cold!

There is a 5th Canadian element used to stay warm witch is the most popular in cold weather and beats out all heating methods you have mentioned. In any given baby boom you can back up 9 months and that will tell you when it was really to cold to go outside:evilsmile:

I pictured that you kinda looked like this guy...skinny jeans, sweater up to there, icicles from the nose, teeth chattering and an snazzy red toque...ahh Canadian men.:p

    11:42am Stewiacke time:

I took a vaca day and stayed home. Hubby had to work so he took the 4X4, I had breakfast in bed and watched a sappy move. Then I cleared off the stairs to our apartment above and retrieved empty boxes so I could start taking down the Christmas decorations...sad day...but it's time.
When I was out I measured the snow on the railing we have about 5 1/2" so far. The wind is getting stronger should make for an interesting drive home for hubby.

    Now to get to work...

Very funny! Natural gas hot water, actually. That, plus blankets and I had a 2 dog night. It was so chilly both beagles were under the covers, snuggled in. The joys of living in a 140 year old house badly converted into flats.

You're lucky. I don't have any dogs. I had to snuggle with my wife. Her nose is cold!
But unlike those Canadians I don't think we'll have anything to worry about around September.:yup:

Well, we're forecast for a low of 3(three!!) degrees Mon night here in bucolic Coweta County.......and won't even have any snow to show for it! :slap:

Full page of cold emergency prep items being carried out here at the Moto house 36 hrs prior. Actually the worst thing that might happen is black ice Mon AM...........we will have widespread rain here late tonight then the temps fall.......from around 45 at 2am to near 20 in the space of an hour......which I guess will flash freeze the roads?

Will be interesting in the AM's, I'm betting school gets called off. Then it may again on Tues due to extreme cold. We no do:naughty: single digit temps here!

Added: Coweta Co GA schools closed Mon and Tues due to severe winter weather.

Even down in the sunshine state it's going to be 35 Tuesday and 19 for a low. I feel sorry for people up north. Son just said they already have at least 6" of snow and way below zero for tonight.
Sure glad we have this global warming to help out. I actually went out and wrapped the outside faucets.:slap:

Well, the storm is finally making its way down to Orlando FL tonight.
It'll be windy, and record lows of 29F are forecast, but only a 10% chance of rain, and no snow.
The high Tuesday will be 46F.
Mickey Mouse may freeze his ears off!
No official announcement about rumors that Donald Duck will actually be wearing pants for the next couple of days.
