Yes, I understand snow storms. That's why I'm in Florida now.

It's true regardless where we live each climate/zone.region whatever, has it's weather patterns. It's funny I would rather have to experience a blizzard from time to time then worry about hurricanes/tornadoes/earthquakes, etc. I guess it's just what we are used too. :)

Hope all is going well with you guys Yellerspirit.

What you said about the weather "what we are used to" pretty well covers it. We grew up where there was snow, ice, and cold, yet it was nothing like farther up north. We also saw the floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, and other bad weather of other places and always wondered how people could stand it. They grew up that way.

    Almost 9:00pm

It stopped snowing after supper long enough for the neighbour to get his plow out and do a few driveways. However the wind is still really strong and I beleive it has started to snow again. We still have our power many others aren't so lucky. The HWY between Truro, NS and Moncton, NB has been closed, zero visiblity. Nasty, nasty night out there.

How's it going for the rest of you on the East coast?

We don't often feel the wind against the house but all day and this evening when there is a strong gust we can feel the house vibrate...really hoping this dies down through the night.
