I guess what they say is true. They go great distances to get their man!--^^^^^ Get him, Duddly Doright.
Nasty night out there. Glad I had the day off today. Our weather started off with above normal temps @ 11c(about 52f) very high winds and very heavy rains. Hubby went to pick out our daughter from work around 4:00pm. He said he had to keep the blower on the windshield all the way home because it was freezing up. I had a workshop in Halifax this evening. So I got all pretty up, step out onto the deck, almost went onto my fannie, went to grab the hand rail, it is covered with thick ice. I stood there trying decide to go or not, it's about an hours drive into Halifax but this workshop only comes around once a year... I stayed home, called my sales rep left a message to say I wouldn't be in. About an hour later I looked out, all the trees, cars, etc are covered in ice the temps had dropped to -8c(17f) and a thin layer of snow is covering everything. So hubby(of course)has to make a run to Tim's for coffee. It's not nice out there, he comes back to report this fact. Anyway I'm glad I stayed home. Will this winter ever come to an end? It's looking like Wiarton Willy was right, the little Bas****... http://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/wiarton-willie-sees-shadow-forecasts-6-more-weeks-of-winter-1.1666706
Ummmmm........ you fall down go boom on your fannie (almost), so hubby has to race to 911 Tim Hortons???????? fannie, fannie, fannie......... hubby, hubby, hubby......... EPIC face palm X200 Don't know how things work back east, but we on the wet coast have these things called coffee makers, every house has one Forget the both of you, did the dog get a Tim bit?????
Here's the naughty little rodent we use around here to predict when Spring weather is going to show up: http://www.11alive.com/story/news/local/2014/03/06/1960534/
We have a coffee maker, not sure why, I drink tea and Hubby is a Timaholic. This is his normal routine, the worst the weather the faster he has to get out in it. He usually takes the 4X4 but tonight he takes the Sonic, poor little thing was spinning it's little wheels all the way up our hill.
As Tedy would say fannie fannie fannie! You sound so much like our daughter. Work can get cancelled because of bad weather. Her drive to work is probably two miles. Her daughter can't go to school either. Thats maybe four miles. But she will call me on her way to the next city where the big mall is because they have to shop because there is nothing else to do! Now this mall is way across the town, 10 miles, which is already 15 miles from home. She's driving and telling me it's so slippery, windy, and cold she can hardly stay on the road. I like coffee too. But there are times I won't walk to the kitchen for a cup. I've learned whinning and pouting myriaculously brings a cup to my desk.
This pic taken from the top of the snowdrift infront of the house,.. i,d take the car to tims for coffee,. but,.....
