Gee I miss snow, ice, and high winds.

But I'm still gonna take tomorrow off.

Me too, but no palm trees, YET!!!

I've got a buddy in central Alberta who runs a greenhouse for palm trees for the big malls and oil-patch office buildings. I should ask him where I can get a 20 foot fake one to plant in my yard and name her "Wishful Thinking" Or "My Mexican Dream"...:rofl2:

wow this has turned into a Big thread.... I remember the days back in 1978-1981 when I lived in Florida. on the 60 degree days I would wear Long johns under my blue jeans... never really thinking about actual temperature.

My Brother is a truck driver and just this week got a load to Fort Lauderdale and was amazed himself with all the people wearing Jackets and he in a T-Shirt wondering why they wore Jackets. ha ha ha ha I explained to him how your body get acclimatized to the temperatures and that drastic of a drop feels cold to you... LOL I still laugh at it though. Here in the Pacific Northwest 50 degrees is short sleeve weather.

How true Dogfather. It's 2 degrees back where I escaped from in Illinois and 62 here in the boonies of NW Florida where I am hiding out. I'm wearing a long sleaved flannel shirt and jogging pants, freezing!--- In the house.;)

Got our patio all cleaned up last weekend, ready for the Super Bowl party, the hot tub, grill, cooler.....hope the temps stay in the 80's............

I've got at least 3" snow in the yard here at the Moto compound today. Newnan is about 50 mi sw of ATL. We actually prolly saw more snow here south of Atlanta than they did and north GA. The system cut a swath across middle GA this time. (y)

Its all the way down into Northeast Mexico. We listen to Mexican radio via the web, in the morning, from Monterrey, Mexico (wife's family are there). ZERO centigrade and freezing rain, snow and blowing snow. FUGLY!:banghead3:

:49: stay safe, hope it doesn't to bad for you guys, this forecast sounds scary.
We are getting this same storm over night Thursday into Friday except we are getting a bunch of snow before the change over to freezing rain then rain. Friday should be a fun drive...38 more days to spring...
