I always wondered why many of those cartoon characters go around with no pants on. Was Walt a nudist? This morning it was 65 here with a drizzle. It's now 54 and light fog, whatever that is? Going down to 21 degrees near the lower Suwannee River. That's where we are---way down upon the Suwannee River...Not far far enough away! Tuesday 40/17!!!!!!! On the other hand where I'm from it's now -13, going down to -17 Wind chills now -36 and dropping. I don't know about Donald and his friends but I'm wearing my pants and staying inside just in case Hell freezes over! Huey and Louie are doing fine. No news about Dewey! Thank goodness for Global Warming.
And he got so upset about wearing pants he went on another drinking binge with his wine of choice.... .... And we all know how his temper gets after a few bottles, he started stepping on babies! Then all hell broke loose! In the end CNN reported that Snow white and Tinker Bell who both have been rumored to have been in a love triangle with Donald and a unknown rioter were also taken into custody by police...... Peter Pan was also taken into custody after making threats towards Donald and Tinker bell as he flew into a jealous rage.... 6 of the Seven Dwarfs could not be reached for comment on the incident, but Grumpy was and only had one thing to say... No charges have been laid On Donald yet as he is being held for a psychiatric evaluation.. Pluto was hailed as the hero of the day by police for keeping his calm and rescuing the baby safely returning her, to her mothers arms..... .....It is a small world after all!
I was going to make a quick trip to the store for some cough syrup today so I tried digging out the tracker first as it was closest to the street. There was well over a foot of snow in the driveway and close to two foot drifts. Windy with -10F and 20+ mph winds. I started the car and ducked in side of it every few minutes to warm up. The tracker has an interesting warm up cycle when it gets this cold. Race like a banshee for about three minutes and then alternate the racing with normal idle at about a 1/2 Hz duty cycle for another two minutes. Finally got it dug out and tried to move it. Zero traction no matter what I did. The neighbor pulled me out to the edge of the street with his 4wd pickup but I still couldn't get enough traction with the little beast so we pushed it back in and took another 40 minutes to dig a path to the Colony Park. It pretty well drove right out with just a few back and forth motions to get it around the tight corner. Have I ever mentioned that I love that car? After all that I decided that the cough syrup can wait until I go to work in the morning. At least the chariot is primed and ready to go. I have been back inside for about a half an hour and my feet have progressed from no feeling to searing, burning sensation. Should be back to normal soon. West Texas and Arizona are sounding really appealing right now. mike
Uhmmmmmmm.........don't go get the U-Haul just yet. When I walked the dog at 5am, it was 31. As we drove to work about 7:15, it was down to 24. Supposed to get to 69 today, though......and be in the 70's for highs until the weekend (of course) back to the 60's with rain. Lows in the 40's. When you get used to it being over 100, that's darn cold!
31 would be a bloody heat wave for us this year and we may not see the 70s for a couple of months yet. In truth we are supposed to get a day or so at or above freezing toward the end of the week... just before the next snow storm. Gotta bite the bullet and get a snow thrower so that the snow storms will stop. mike
We didn't get the freezing rain... and actually have above average temps...nice. Alot of the snow that we got two days ago during the blizzard, is gone.
Can you imagine how rough they would be! 28degrees and rising here, just looked like a lot of snow couse it was fluffy...not a bad thing its gone.
Wow, a cleated paddle tire! That ought to get you through anything! It's a naughty 7 degrees here in Newnan this morning and I get to go see if a certain big yellow box will start and run it an hour or so in prep for school to resume tomorrow! Ouch!
How come when I watch The DaVinci Inquiries on Retro TV, everyone in Vancouver BC is wearing short sleeves and walking amongst palm trees? Are you cagey Canucks keeping your little paradise a secret from the rest of us? Btw, it only got down to 35 last night in Orlando, and Donald Duck is still 'sans pants.'
That may have been yesterday as I was really nice for the past few days, on the island anyway. But today it's a normal winter day again, rain, rain, and more rain.
The thermometer in the Escape said 3 degrees this morning on my way to work. Plus, the heat crapped out in my apartment last night. BRRRRR!
it only got down to 35 last night in Orlando, and Donald Duck is still 'sans pants.' Up the road a piece, 135 miles, our birdbath was frozen solid and it was 29 when I got up bright and early around 9AM. So it must have gotten in mid 20's here. Actually got up at 7AM for a few minutes. I decided under covers in bed was a lot better than wandering around the house without pants. Quack Quack!
