    Dang. I like that idea.

Krash, from reading your first post is sounds like you are leaving a larger place in exchange for a smaller one. Is that the case?

Myy garage is standard 2 car wide (which means narrow) but it is actually quite deep. As long as I keep the Fury up close to the wall on one side, there is room for the wife's Merc to fit in there.

Since it's so deep I have space for a little work bench on the back wall.

Yeah - lots newer house, but smaller garage. Garage I have now is oversized, with lots of storage, and a HUGE permanent workbench on one wall. With the new place, I'll park my HHR backwards and the wife's Explorer forwards, so the 'getting in space' in shared in the middle. It will leave me maybe 20-24" on each side wall for storage or workbench. Also will have to store:
    2 bikes
    Toro lawnmower
    Compressor
    Shop vac, et al.......

Have you considered a tow behind enclosed trailer.
They make great tool sheds on wheels.
Sometimes you can find old office trailers on craigs' for cheap money too with airconditioners.(y)

That's a cool idea, but wouldn't work for me - no large gate access or RV parking area. Trailer would be stuck in the driveway.

Krash, there's nothing to be done but to go get yourself a really decent sized and good quality and good looking shed for out back. One with enough room that you can also store your extra car stuff. tools you don't need every day but still need, etc. Maybe one with a bit of an attic? Saw an article once about a guy who, to discourage neighbors from complaining, built a gorgeous kids play house, complete with little covered deck and planters under the window. Of course the whole end tilted up out of the way and he had it full of his lawn stuff, his go karts stacked, the attic full of go kart parts, a bit of a work area complete with air compressor, etc and enough room for his hobby without impacting the house garage. If you didn't know it was a disguised work shop you'd never think twice that it was not a play house. Perhaps you could pull off something along those lines?
