-----------It seems to be working!!!!!!! I think! I'm confused! One of you say get your sh*@# together, another says blind them with bullsh%@#. And the politicians are filling us full of their Sh*@^. As my dear ole daddy used to say Sh*#^ or git off the pot! Yep, I'm cornfuzed! And that's no sh&*#!!!!
As one of the ones getting the free stuff... ... if I am understanding things correctly... ... ... Just like my Dad who was also disabled and getting disability and veterans to support my mom and me and my brother... he wished so much that he could go put and work. As do I, but I can't! Here is an idea. How about every person pay $5 per every $1000 they get annually to the national debt(s). Do you know how much money that would be? It also seems, as I understand it, that one country owes money to another which owes to another which owes to the first one, and some even owe money to the country that owes money to them. The whole damn world owes the world money and I am supposed to believe that there is no simple way to fix this! Looks like no one wants to work out a damn deal to solve it. They want what THEY want and screw the rest the of the people in government and screw all of us! A government can only do so much, especially when to government is also fighting itself over what needs to be done. Yes there are too many people getting free stuff... there are people who don't need it. My brother's ex wife ended up dying because if she continues with her physical therapy and started walking again she would lose every cent she was getting. She was starting to walk when she stopped going and ended up just rotting away till she died just so that she could get free money. If I were in her place I would want to walk and do things on my own. But I can't work. I can't get a job and earn a desent living for me and my wife. I get $653 a month. How can any family survive on that!? Even with what little money my wife gets from her job we can only dream of getting ahead or goiing any where in life...
It is not the truly disabled or out of work who are hurting the government. Our middle son is also disabled and collects disablity and medical aid. He had to quit work because of diabetis. This is not the problem. Our government is giving way more to illegal aliens who come here to go to school, have kids, and free load. Then many return to their homelands. And money is wasted on wars, aiding other countries, and our very politicians who make more than they should. Obama is out to make America fall and we sit back and watch.
Its people like my sister who are the problem. Years ago she hurt her back and got on disability. 10 years later she is still on disability and has a person that comes and cleans her apt And drives her anywere she wants. She claims she cant work because of her back. Yet she goes to the bars and night clubs every night. Walks and sits for hours with no outward discomfort. She is on oxycotyn(spelling). And sells them. This is why we no longer speak.
------------Back in Illinois when I worked for a living, which I did from my first paper route on up, I thought everyone went to school, got jobs, and had families. Retired to Florida and saw a whole new trend. Very few who aren't retired actually work. Most seem to have some sort of disability yet the ability to hunt, fish, drink, and do other things they enjoy! Multiply this by millions and there seems to be a slight money problem. Add to this those iillegals and no wonder the government is going broke!
It's certainly not to say that some people don't deserve 'free stuff' but too many people are getting it for reasons that are unfair. We need a reform. If you are able and ready to work, you should be working. I understand the economy is bad and some people are on tough times. Yes, you've paid your dues and need help right now and the USA should help you back on your feet. Some people are just never getting back on their feet, because they can just suck on the government teet. That's not right, these people need to row their own boats.
The way things look now, the good ship USA is sunk! And with the captian we have he and the crew are still drilling more holes in it!
