That Vista Cruiser looks pretty good, decent money too , desirable 70 model, I liked that yr the best on those. Classic 70 color choice on it too.

Yeah, Fat....that Caddy, IIRC, is the one with IL rust. I THINK someone went and looked at it and confirmed the salt rust.

I like that car too, moto. But, when a guy says that a VC has a little rust....well...they are known to rust up high in the quarters & other areas. When you can see the rust it is often big trouble. Maybe this one is OK, though, who knows? Sure is a beauty and the price is way right if the whole car looks as good as the pix.

Yeah, seems like they tend to rust out first up along the roof windows. Texas car maybe?

Dayum! Hate that. I was going to email the VC seller and ask some questions. I like the car and price but not the rust comment. You might know, the one ad I want info on is phone only.

That 2-door '64 Chevelle could turn out to be a pretty good deal for the right buyer. They go for lots of $$$ when finished. One of the only wagons you actually might be able to make money on after a conservative resto.....

The Vista Cruiser looks like the best deal out of the bunch, even with the mention of rust. My "go to college" car was a '71 Cutlass Supreme convertible, but the VC looks much more desirable. $2600 is a steal, I think.

For that price, it would definitely be worth calling on. Rust is subjective. In TX, some rust might be surface stuff that they can see on bolt heads. In Michigan, some rust means that panels don't fall off when you hit bumps. If I was looking for a VC, I'd at least call on it.

I just clicked on the Vista Cruiser and it came up. It's hard for me to believe that it's still there for that money.
