Fellow wagonite

It looks as if my previous quote of this and the subsequent replies to it that followed vanished so I'll ask again for the record: is this a stock 90s Whale Wagon color? I don't recall ever seeing one quite like it; I saw a Caprice that looked similar but it was more metallic.

And now, the mysterious Roadmaster Whale:



It doesn't look quite the same, does it? I don't think the black trim really works out with the color on the fender. If they removed the trim on the bottom end behind the headlight before painting it could have worked.

Incidentally, it looks like there are some blue Roadmasters around if this other pic is any indication:



This latter car looks better, IMO; the trim's not taking up as much space on the fender. Personally, I think the one in the middle's not factory; it looks like it's an ex-woodgrain car.

 

I was hoping you'd chime in, and looking at the pic you posted and comparing it to the pics Grizz snapped, I think you're right.

That's Opryland Nov. 2017. The model is my daughter Sherrie who often drinks at bars.

 

Sweet airbrushed cobra on the front plate...Think it runs?! I bet it does! It’s parked in front of maybe a 07 exploder? I pulled over and had to peek through some bushes.

 

Hahaha. Shelly, Sherrie. That was pretty close!!!close don’t count though i Still missed three out of three. Maybe I’ll go get my eyes checked

 

Also, did you notice what she was wearing in NOVEMBER! That’s right folks! It’s been mid to high 60’s since September! It just now got cold around here. I’m toasting my toes by the trusty electric fireplace riiiiighhhttt now.

 

That's why I high lighted the names. In a smoky dark bar I'd get the names messed up.

I just happened to have a few Nashville and Knoxville area photos Sherrie just sent me. They seem to be attracted to alcohol and country music.

We don't smoke. Son in law has the black TENNESSEE shirt. They live near here in ILLINOIS. He's confused!

 

^^^i been to neyland! Long time ago. Maybe 94. It didn’t look like that though. Think it sits like 150,000??? Is that even close? I been to the coliseum (titans stadium) all the time and it’s around 75,000? And half of them are rooting for the other team!!!
