Many thanks fer the reply's Rev........We are definitely liking the same kind of cars....a 56 wagon is on your lust radar you say...oh my.... your Landau LTD is on mine... we bad....I hope you have some new lines for me to tell my warden about me car disease.....I still not told her about me Cougar a bought last fall....I got it hid in the snow but alas spring is a coming....she has a sense of humor and someday I will find out where the last line to cross is...right now I got her wondering where I is headed with my camera stuff... The picture is of me clutter around my computer....she try's to keep me contained but I is inventive....
Boy are you lucky to have an understanding lady. I'm kinda pursuing one right now that is like that, she's also pretty and loves the wagon Always good to try to get the other gender involved in the wagon hobby!
Holy SH#*! FF...that's a LOT of cameras! I have an Olympus OM1 system that was a Cadillac of the times...now?...ain't worth nothin'. Hey, I saw your Buick rescue...sure would like to have a friend like you. That was hard work! And...by the way...nice cars!
Thank you Silverfox....I like to believe that when you help out it comes full circle....and I think it does, just never what you expect though...I enjoy the camera's and play a bit with them....I have started taking a few pictures again with the 35 MM just to get back to the basic...have to start thinking about what I am doing...I have a Rebel XTI digital and it spoils you with just point and shoot..and it does it all for you...What a deal people are getting with the new camera's compared to what it cost in the sixty's..In the seventy's it cost twenty dollars to develope a 24 film...just got one done in an hour the other night and it was five dollars and they gave me a free film cause over nineteen turned out...You can purchase a lot of camera and lens for twenty dollars now...and it is fun if you use it...
WOW, the two door Landu Brougham LTD......LOVE IT! My first Ford LTD was a black/silver four door from 1979. I bought the car when I was 15 (1995), with all the money I saved for cutting lawns. The LTD was sold back to the dealer in a week, some mechanical problem. I never got to drive the car by my self. The second LTD I bought was in 1998. It was a 1976 cream/yellow 4 door brougham with a brown "halo" top. I was in Wyoming for tech school and the LTD was there in Laramie. I bought it for $1,000 from the org owner and before I bought the car, the top was replaced, new paint a year before, and a rebuilt 400 cid engine. It took the 100 deg Neb summer and Rocky Mt. cold like no other car I have had before or since. I sold it a year later for a black on black '79 Lincoln Town Car. For me, LTD stands for "L"ove "T"o "D"rive........
