    I guess the Starlite was a common name for the drive-ins back in them days.

    well a few years ago the last one around here got leveled...but the owner JAY..he swore he would build another...and he did!!
    it took him 3 years to finally get it open after all the political hoops he had to jump thru:whew:
    its been open now for about 3 years and is doing great!
    we go almost every couple of weeks or so...
    ...you know what they say..
    "your only young once..but you can be a kid forever":D

    Drive In's??? Wow! that brings back memories. I first saw "Grease" and "Star Wars" at the Y & W Drive-in in Indiana near Gary. The last movie I saw at that same drive-in was "Stripes". We still have a Drive-in here in Texas in nearby Ennis. Well not so nearby, it's about an hour away, but we've been a couple of times. Good times, Good times!

    We have one right here in Paris, KY and another own about 30 minuets drive away in Winchester. They are actually both pretty good and have both managed to do pretty well over the last few years.

    I just found out there's one a few miles from town by me! My friends and I plan on loading up the wagon for a film this summer!
