We haven't had a computer game console in our household since, let's see.......do you remember the Mattel Intellivision? Our daughter won a Wii recently - been playing a few games on it. She bought Monopoly for it and we had a marathon game last night. She beat me......I taught her well........ Never got into those 'action' games.......
And Even More Duke To Come Duke Nukem 3D: Reloaded http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duke_Nukem_3D:_Reloaded http://www.dukenukemreloaded.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=116 http://gbxforums.gearboxsoftware.com/showthread.php?t=111335 The return of Duke Nukem Forever has inspired a flash of Duke Nukem fever in at least one enterprising game maker, who is planning on recreating 1996's Duke Nukem 3D in the Unreal Engine. http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=bMjJL6SWs_U
wow... i remember when the original duke nukem came out! it created quite a stir because of the foul language. seems tame in conparison to games of today i.e. GTA4 (which is very cathartic)
The only vidio games we have ever had in our house was when my wife, girlfriend at the time moved in (1997), a sega or something..I can't remember. We set it up for my daughter but she never got into them nor did I. I guess I'm showing my age, every once in blue moon I play these online..... http://www.1031jackfm.ca/fun/games/ http://www.1031jackfm.ca/fun/games/retro/ Does any one play cards any more? we do.
Guess I'm showing my age, too, Fat. I really hate video games. A lot. Never played one, never will. Lots of reasons for my feelings about them. But, then, I was never fond of pin ball machines when I was a kid either.
Do you play cards Fox? I've been playing this one for years, good game. You really have to concentrate, count moves, etc Rissian Bank http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_Bank Rules and how to play http://www.pagat.com/patience/crapette.html It's a good game and amazing how it can do 180 degree on you when it looks like your going to will. Rarest thing if you end up in stail mate, does'nt happen often.
Never much for games of any kind, Fat. Don't know why. The only game I ever played and liked at all was Trivial Pursuit. Probably because my age made me good at it.
