Steinburgs............. Reminds me, my grandmother had relatives named Stein in the next big city. Frank N Stein ran the hardware store.
If I didn't know any better, it looks like the Sears in SODO, Seattle, but I think Sears sold it 30 years ago. And, the building I'm thinking of, I think it was brick. Edit: I googled the image, it was the Sears in Long Beach, according to Google.
You may have to go on a recon trip though and provide photographic evidence of the Seattle Sears building.
I can do you one better, Dad took a photo of a locomotive next to the building when Sears still owned it. The trick is finding the f&£king picture in all my stuff!
Your mission, should you chose to accept it, is to find the photo of the Sears building in all of the shoe boxes filled with old family photos...
