I don't recall anything specifically, but I would guess it DID get used a bit for TV shows...… The mall comprises 2 very long blocks, from Broadway on the south, up to Wilshire Bl. on the north end. I remember being in Pomona, CA. (30 miles east of downtown L.A.) in the late 60's, and seeing an almost identical mall. I believe THAT mall was turned back into a street some time ago.
Huh. OK, that's good to know. The last show that I can think of that used the mall I'm thinking of was The Greatest American Hero, first season, the one with Clayton Moore (the Lone Ranger, for the benefit of the uninitiated).
Being in the Ag industry in central Washington (Hop capital of the USA) where many folks sell their products to Miller-Coors, I had to do a double take when I read the signs above and below the windows.
