All of the Vista Cruisers I saw were the ones I photographed. There could certainly be more, but I wasn't really on the look out for them. We don't have many classic car yards either, which is why this place is so thrilling.
Isn't it? Well, the stacking was done along time ago, back when these cars weren't considered anything special.
Sad images indeed but at least they were not crushed. It always amazes me how solid some of these cars are, when they are given up. I have always loved going through vintage yards and taking photos but sadly most yards are gone now in my neck of the woods. My favorite yard for many years was Minaker's in Picton, Ontario, Canada. Three generations of the Minaker family ran it. Sadly it is gone now as well.
Well, the boys and I were back at one of our favorite haunts a couple of weekends ago. I took some photos to share with y'all. There were too many to get all of them, so I focused mainly on the wagons. First is this Stude slide roof. I think this may be the first one of these I've actually seen in real life.
Little Plymouth wagon. It's interesting to me how much the Rambler wagons, yet stayed the same over the years.
