Chevy Van

Why would you get rid of the large windows, Cliff?? I like those. And....it may have been cheaper and easier to find a van without them. Can't be a cheap trick to eliminate them I wouldn't think.
I like those old con-vans, they were fun for a lot of reasons.

 

While it's true a old work van would have been better but here they are beat so bad they are not worth repairing. And with what I have planned for the interior windows would be in the way. Pick A Part has panels I can cut out cheap then i can cut to fit and weld them in. It will take me some time but it will not look Factory stock when I am done.

 

wow....that's a lot of work in & out. It's going to be interesting to see when it's all done.

 

I hope I can do a good job,but it will be slow for me.

 

here is an idea....
put an add on craigs list for a local graffiti artists to come paint your van.

tape off wht you dont want painted and set some guidelines.
1. nothing lewd(or maybe...depends on ya)
2. no gang tags (that can get you shot)
you would be surprised at how cool some of the late night wall art is around here! i could see that given some time without having to worry about being busted some of these guys can do some awesome work
