    Unless I miss my guess, that's either a wartime Crosley version of a Jeep, or one of those King Midgets.

    I thought so. Crosley, during WWII, attempted to make a 'lighter than an MB' Jeep for Airborne forces, but other than a couple prototypes, none were made. There's a private military vehicle museum in Tennessee that has the prototypes, and you can clearly see they're built by Crosley. I have a couple photos on one of my phones, I'll see if I can scare them up.

    While that is a Crosley it is not one of the WWII protype's it is a post war Farm-O-Road model like the one below.
    The WWII models were quite different

    Ah, yeah, I haven't looked for the pics I have. But from the back, like the original pic, you could mistake it.
