Charming old buildings which might have been taken down

It's the British embassy. I'd have to backtrack, later. I'm almost sure, it's in D.C.

 

I see. It looks very similar to the estate that was originally owned by Clement Studebaker II. The appearance of what looks like a Studebaker inside of the gate made me think it had to be. But, then again, stately buildings like this weren't that uncommon back then and Studebaker sold lots of cars. Just a coincidence.
