My Nissan (Datsun, at the time) had head gasket issues. But, then again, I bought it used. So, I can't judge the entire series, until I've owned one since day one That's one mighty big six year old. His dad should adopt me I had a '70 Hornet with the standard six banger and three on the tree: I liked it. It was one of my better domestic cars Naughty boy. The best stuff is that which belongs to someone else. You're about to say women. I just saved you the trouble Dude, you are cool
The only one I bought new was the 86 Chevy K-10. the 93 S-10 Blazer I got from a junk yard for $300.00 it had 129,000 miles on it and an iffy , when I stopped transmission driving it it had 272,000 miles on it, and the same transmission
Three + years since that main post.... I'm amazed we've gone this long without vehicle changes. A few months back we did buy a new (used) car for our older daughter, who's '04 Ford Focus was plum wore out. Got her a 2008 Kia Rondo, which has been a great vehicle so far, schlepping the little grand daughter around.
It's good to hear the Rondo keeps on keepin' on. Of course, because of guv'mint laws governing SSI, I cannot sell my cars (especially if I need money for something important--like food), so I haven't picked up anything since October '13, nor have I got rid of the Exploder or Babe. I want Dad's truck to stay with the fam, so if it does, it'll have to be under another member's name.
