I was born during the Reagan years....1981. Here are a few things I would consider....

    Jeep Grand Wagoneer

    Lincoln Continental Mark VI Coupe

    [IMG] [IMG]

or how about an 81 Buick Riviera Convertible....

I bought the Thames cuz its as old as me :biglaugh:

Geez Rev! Are you immortal? :rofl2:

Never been a fan of coupes but just like Zoe makes the odd, occasional exception on wood grain, I too make exceptions. That black beauty is just that. A beauty! But Zoe and I both agree that our next car will be, without exception, a station wagon. Still though a black Mercury is a very special thing indeed, however many doors!

Also, I wish that Lincoln had come in station wagon form during the 80s. They made beautiful hearses, why not wagons.

    I'd drive it! :D

You know, I've thought about what it would be like to get a bunch of older vehicles, panel trucks, shipping trucks, and some of the larger station wagons, and having a novelty moving business. Company drivers, of course.

1964 was not a stellar year for automotive styling.. at least in the US.

I guess the 64 model I like the best would be a 4 speed fastback Mustang.. followed closely by a '64 T-bird convertible.

I guess then you would want a hard top as the fastback Mustang didn't happen until 65....

But you did have options for a 64 T-Bird rag top......

I'm pretty sure the fastback was first produced in September of 1964..

Of course all the "1964 1/2" Mustangs were actually 1965 models.. But
many are listed or known as 64 1/2 since they came out so early in 64..

I was born in October of 64, so there were fastbacks born before me LOL..

BTW, thats a great looking Tbird :)

Well no they were not, the first of the first came with a 260 as a V8 option in 64. No matter what brand, next years model was all ways available long before the next year. Dad bout a 70 Cougar in 69 out of the show room floor, was registered/insured as a 70 with 69 plates......in 1969.
