Wow! What a score! I'm seeing that body slammed over a nice modern chassis and drivetrain, with big 'n' little Halibrands and driven cross country. But that's just me...

I'll be watching to see what you do with it. Enjoy!

Good choice to either restore or flip.
Well sought after in any condition given their low production and good looks.
Having lots of repop parts avasilable does not hurt either-compared to most of our wagons.

Looks nice and complete ,if a little tired . That engine ,if it isn't the original,is pretty close to the proper one with the power pack intake /wcfb combo. I'd restore something like that rather mod it. afterall there are dozens of rodded Nomads out there but when did you see a 100% restored one last? . I had my first 56 when i was 17 and it was almost new .I have a soft spot for the 55-57 chevs even though I drive mercedes today.

Looks like a very solid wagon! Everybody that sells a car on e-pay should be required to build ads like Azwagon.... Although I can't help but think something was missing this time around???

Got it running today, needed GAS and thats it..
that 215 v8 is a great little motor, and runs really
    smooth too.
Love old wagons, the hardest part is knowing that I
have to part with it sometime down the road.
fixing the brakes this week and its ready for
    anything :)

Are these solid rear axle cars ?

Solid axle i am sure. The Pontiac tempest was similar but had a transaxle . If itr were mine i would consider a 60's style metal flake paint job to show off all those angles , curves and chrome. .
Swap in a range rover 5.0 liter V8 (looks the same as it's ancestor Buick ) and you'd have a cool car. :yippee:

Great car! I love 57 Chevies, and none are better than the Nomad!
