Auto Transport Trucks

Wow. Type III sedan bodies. Very interesting.

Brand-new pickups, a panel truck and a sedan, but the Stupor Duty looks like it's gone several rounds in rush hour traffic.

 

I'm not so sure. I was going to say they looked like NSU Sport Prinz bodies, but after looking at pics on-line, I'm not so sure. Don't think they're Type 3's, though. Rear greenhouse seems to have more a 'coupe' look to it rather than the Type 3's regular sedan appearance.

The greenhouse on this actually matches pretty close. It's the front end that's off.

 

I thought that gorgeous silver one was the Euro-version Karmann Ghia. First and only time I saw one, I thought it was a Corvair, since I was quite familiar with the American VW line from our Bug's owner's manual (I accidentally called it a 'Convair,' though...).

 

And looking back at the original pic, it still looks like a Type III to me. It might be, but I have been wrong before.

 

Level 2, position 1 for me please..........

 

Look like Type 3 naughty notchbacks to me??
