If it were closer, I'd get it. But, It would cost me $1000 to ship it to Indiana. I've flown and driven cars home before, but I've never gone that far.
If only I were working, my wife would say, "Go ahead and get it." I have the $$ to buy the car, but no $$ to get it home.

Does look like it has potential, looks honest rite down to the standard missing one rear back up lens and the one thats left has yellowd/fogged. I've noticed this on just about evey origonal Fox Fairmont/Zepher. But on the Fox LTD/Marquis it seems the lens does'nt yellow/fog and the lenses interchange....different suppliers? Tiwan to China?:rofl2:

The discription leaves questions IMO....the water pump leaks only if you bypass the heater core??

It does look like a nice car. As for the leak, I'm sure its an easy fix. It does sound fishy that it leaks when the heater is bypassed, I wonder if he/she worded it wrong?
Man, I wish I could get it!! It would make a great daily driver.
Hey, Krash- If I can convince my wife to let me get it, could you find a place to park it for me till I can bring it home?

Ya know, I have about as much of a chance to buy that car as I have a chance to grow a 3rd eye. Why do I torture myself like this all the time? Is there a cure for this disease? Can I get into a help group?

Its the Wagholm symptom of wagonitis, and the only known cure is - ANOTHER ONE! :rofl2::rofl2:

I really feel for you. That's one heck of a nice wagon project.

BrickBox, the Mustang would have a hissy-fit with that wagon next to her. :rofl2: That's why I hid the Mustang in mine. Down to the EBrake:rednose::

The steering wheel came from the 1978 Fairmont 2 door donor that I got the engine and tranny from. The car was toast, but the engine and trans were professionally rebuilt by my favourite Ford Dealer here. My front swaybar is the original V8 Wagon unit, which is 1 1/8" (1.125") thick. It takes corners like a Lotus.:thumbs2:

All I need now is a turbo mounted on this engine (3.3L I6) and a 'Z' from some Zorro toy to use as a template for a hood ornament. Since the wagon is all trimmed out with parts from about 5 different Fox models, I want to get a nameplate made that says 'Zorro IV'.:rofl2:
