    It looks familiar, even with its left eye plucked out. I'm not sure about this being an exact specimen. But, back then, there was no shortage of Ford cab-overs of this size

    To my knowledge they are FoMoCo's first attempt at a full-scale over the road cabover.
    The took the C-series cab and just added sheetmetal to make it taller. You can see where the original wheel well below the rear quarter window would have been.

    First time I saw a photo of one I figured it must have been a custom/one-off machine. Turns out it was a factory creation.
    I actually saw one in person last summer. I think I have a photo somewhere. I'll look and see if I can find it to share with the group.
