If the mileage he claims is right, this one has already passed the MILLION mile mark! That being the case, this is one strong wagon, even if not exactly pretty. It would be interesting to see if that is the case, or if it is a typo. Depends on the documentation. If it is a million mile car I would keep it as crusty as it is, just stop the rust where it is and keep right on driving. Wonder just how far it will go once a new transmission is in place.
It has to have 108,851.5 miles? Just wait until it's at the local pull-a-part in a couple of weeks to get the good parts, be a lot cheaper than buying the whole car for them. I see cars like that on the local Craigslist and more often than not the next time I see them is at the boneyard. When I see pics of interiors of cars like that it makes me thankful that they don't have smellavision computers...yet. I just know that if you see a forest of Pine Tree air fresheners hanging off the rear view mirror of a vehicle at the pull-a-part you don't go crawling around inside the car without a hazmat suit on.
That millage I will believe. Would make for a good parts car, but that's about it. But the good part is they make products for these kind of cars...... and before you know it, bato boom, bata bing, your driving a.....
