This wagon is on an ebay "buy it now or make offer" ad.

I wrote the owner to find out what it needs to make it road worthy, and he said it needed a fuel line which he replaced, he drove it around his 2 acres and it drove fine...it needs a new battery (he was using one from another car), steering leaks, trans leaks, but not terribly.
It is not registered or insured, so he doesn't take it on the road.

I bet if someone were to make a fairly low offer, he would take it. :yup: Fly out to Albuquerque on a cheap Southwest fare, and drive/limp it home! :2_thumbs_up_-_anima

    David :)

That seems like a good one to me. However, it's a Villager. The fake wood has been removed and has a cheap respray. Note the overspray on the door seal. IMO that does NOT detract from the value. It looks quite solid with a nice interior. I do like those fender louvers that's on Zephyrs. Stormin' Norman should get some of those.

    Someone should snap it up.:thumbs2:

I looked at this car. I hate it when they set up their auction this way, though. You are bidding blind. Even though, I suppose, you are informed if you are too low. Point is....it may be a nice car on the cheap. Still...I am a real stickler for MANY more pix than are shown here.

I found some nice fake ones on a Lincoln. I've been thinking about it. Even running 3 exhaust pipes into them.:rofl2::rofl2::rofl2: But then the Turbo would have to be on the hood.:rofl2:

I would have done some other colour where the woodgrain was. It looks naked.

I like this auctions set up, seems clear...$850 or OBO. Much better than a reserve not met auction where you are bidding on something for what it's worth to never know if the seller has dreams of Barret Jackson.

I do agree though, more pics would be nice. I see one rear back up lense is missing, is the other one there?

Looks like this car got sold already. Too bad, had I known about this one, I would have made an offer.

He said in his ad he relisted it from a previous auction because the buyer backed out. Looks like it is gone.

Oh, OK....got it. Still...if someone is interested it may be worth an email. Maybe the new buyer will back out too. If there is a new buyer. Never know in car sales.

I like both types of wagons here, BUT I would consider that Pontiac frist. You say you need/want winter car, the Poncho sounds alot better, the Fox wagon...it leaks this and that.....

The Fox wag sounds more like a bit of a project nomatter what, not exactly a turn key winter beater. And the Fox is rite about the Fox, you hav'nt seen it. It just does'nt come across as a car you could just drive home.

My Buick is the first experince with a 307, I have no complaints. I live in a all hills area and I can run up our steep island highway at 60mph no problem and still have some snot to speed up if I need. I still end up at the same traffioc lite as the guy in the Mustang who blasted beside me, only differnce is I keep driving, he keeps having to stop then start over;)

Yep, going to look at the Poncho tomorrow. We'll see how it goes, but I can't afford to spend a lot of $$. Hope they're in a dealing mood!!
