That’s almost too good to be a parts car. Rust free. Check out the steering wheel…that was factory Riv in '77! Sharp! Olds 403 engine in it too, and full set of chrome Buick Road Wheels.

    Not bad!

My uncle had one of these when they were new. I was really quite surprised by how much performance it had with that engine. Even with highway gearing, once he kicked down into passing gear, I was pushed back into the seat from the surge. It was pretty impressive to a skinny 10 year old.

It's hard to believe now that the 1977 Riviera was actually downsized for that year. It replaced this gargantuan Buick.

Not a fan here of those later model Rivieras. The '68 was about the best looking one in my book:

My favorite Riv is the 65.

Failing that the 77/78 was a beautiful car. Drove great, too. This one is WAY to nice to be hacked up for parts. Wonder what it would take to get a title.
