It's really beautiful and loaded not to mention very rare. Based on the photos, I think this also belongs to the owner of the '73 Monaco wagon that has been for sale for quite awhile.

I don't know if he can get that price, but it's a very rare wagon, the top of the line Brougham model, so I don't blame him for asking top dollar.

Top price, maybe, but well worth it, in my opinion. This one has power windows, power seat, and quite likely power locks, and probably most of the other options on top of the Brougham package. These seats look like the leather option as well. It also seems to be in exceedingly GOOD original condition. This one is a keeper for sure.

Truly beautiful and rare car. What engine does it have? I can't tell from the photo.

Prof - the '77 Royal Monaco wagons came with a 'Lean Burn' (Chrysler term) 400 V8. Interestingly, the brochure indicates that the big Royal Monaco/ Royal Monaco Brougham wagons were not available in California, where this one is being sold! Apparently Calif's stricter emissions requirements prevented the Lean Burn 400 from being sold there.

That's either a 400 or a 440. Impossible to know without the VIN or a better engine pic.

    I WANT this!!!

Thanks Patrick and Krash. I really like the color combination on this car. I wonder about the history on it.

Seems to have had a very easy life. My guess: Upper-middle class or wealthy first owner, probably part of a multi-car home fleet and driven very little. More than likely sold or traded in after around 5 years (1982), then bought by a collector (heck, maybe the guy who's selling it now....)

No doubt it has lived an easy life. I might have to email the seller and ask a few questions.

Per the brochure, no leather seat option, no 440 option.

I think I'm seeing a dent in the left rear door and another on the left front fender.

Generally, a very pretty car, but $12.5k pretty?

It certainly may have some flaws after 37 years, but as loaded as it is and in generally great condition, it may very well be worth $12, 500 or thereabouts to the right buyer. :) I do know that the 1977 Royal Monaco and Gran Fury wagons in their last year for 1977 were built in extremely low numbers. Want one now? You would be hard pressed to find as nice a one as this appears to be.
