So...64CS...is it $1800 or $2800? If it's $1800 and you drive and inspect it and I could see way more good pix in & out...I may be interested.
Wait....is that a crack in the dash?

    $2800 is the new $1800!

I just got off of the phone with mechanic of where it is parked. The second owner took it to him to replace the A/C-heater control panel. They received the wrong panel and ordered the correct one. If I buy it today as it sets $1800. After panel repair $2100. The mechanic said the car is running very rich and needs carb work but the owner does not want to have it done. It is drivable but runs "real rich" according to mechanic. He is going to call me after installation of part and testing of A/C and heater controls, I guess meaning the negotiation will start at $2100.

And yes fox, that is a crack in the dash. The driver's seat also has a tear. Otherwise the interior is incredible.

Ebay price - $138,567.99 if everything is relative (ref light blue wagon)

I'd buy the part and talk the owner down to 15. That's what I would try...and I think it would work. Wish I was there.:(

It is a 1977 and is now sitting in my shop ready to be detailed. I drove it 15 miles to here, trouble free. What was the most surprising aspect was the handling was exceptional; steering and braking.

more photos over the next week.

theres a reason that every hot rod on the planet has a Mustang II front end in it......they would never have sold if they had called it a Pinto front end;)

    Hey Rev,

I didn't put the two together. So the Mustang II and this little jewel of a wagon may share some suspension components? Makes sense.

Let's see if I can bore all of you to death with my history research.

I always like to get pictures of the decals on the old cars that I buy for several reasons, one of which, they can sometimes tell a story.

Decals currently on the bobcat and the original window sticker.

Best I can tell, this car was purchased new in West Virginia by an airman. The car passed a Virginia emissions test in 1999 at 82,712 miles. I have a the inspection permit. Then most likley the "officer" was transferred to Lackland in Texas in 2005. The car appears to have been sold locally in 2008 to its second owner. Now its here.
