    Ad text:
'69 Sportwagon - 2-seat, 81K miles, all-original, very solid car. it's got the 350/4 bbl, automatic, PS, PB, PW, tilt wheel, cruise, AC. The frame is incredibly solid and there's only a tiny amount of body rust along the top of the rear fenders (where the windows by the cargo area meet the fenders). The paint is decent for a 45-year old car, but has some stains and scratches and scrapes. Woodgrain is wrinkly and cracked in a few places, and has been removed from the tailgate. Headliner is gorgeous. Rear seat looks like it's never been used. Driver's seat has rips on the seams. Carpet is faded. The car runs great.

Needs a little bit of work but this is a very solid car to restore.

Nice car. 1969 was the last year for the raised-roof Sportwagon.

I always wondered why Buick's production of their raised-roof wagon didn't parallel that of Oldsmobile. Olds built the raised-roof Vista Cruiser for nine model years (1964 through 1972). Buick built its version, which was originally called the "Skyroof", for only five model years (1965 through 1969).

I've always loved this vintage Buick. In high school my buddy inherited a '69 coupe that was dark green with color matched hubcaps. Ever since than I've been smitten with these and when I saw this ad and the first pic I had high hopes. After enlarging and seeing some of the flaws I got really disappointed. This wagon is a decent driver quality car but for the price I was expecting her to be in much better condition. I don't know what the right price might be but for me, it ain't $7,100!
