Like the title says after 40 years & 5 months I said good bye to a family member. On Sunday I helped load up my 66 7 Litre on to a flat bed for it's journey to it's new home, it is odd right now to walk into the garage and not see it there but it has gone to a good home in fact my insurance appraiser had been bugging me for the better part of a decade to sell it to him and I finally said ok.

Once I figure out how to upload pics from my phone I'll put up a couple, now to get back to cleaning & re-arranging the garage.

Hopefully for another memory maker. I couldn’t even imagine. It is like a member of the family after that long. If your insurance Guy has been bugging you for that long it indeed go to a good home. That should give you some comfort.

Hard to believe that I bought it April 1980 two months before graduating high school and three months before putting it in storage at my parents farm until 94 while I started my career in the Canadian military and afterwards college.
Well I finally have a few pics from Sunday uploaded,

And on it's way to it's new home.
Still kind of sad to look at it leaving.
If any one is wondering where the outside mirror is, it's on the floor in the back seat, I always removed it while in the garage so I didn't accidentally damage it while working around the car.
