See that's the thing. Seats like these look uncomfortable. But it's the opposite. I used to have an S-10 truck that I AutoX'd and road raced that had the cheapie RCI plastic buckets. Now you would think a plastic bucket with just a foam cover would be the last think you would want to sit in after a long hard day at work. It was quite the opposite. And the seats I have in the wagon now are even more so. I guess maybe it cradles you, and makes you sit one way versus having to try and find the right position to be comfortable. I don't know. But I do know I have done trips in these seats for a 2 hour trip and not gotten out of the seats or car nad felt great after. They can be harder to get in and out of, but some of that might be because the car and the seats are lower than they used to be.
We are talking about the rear 3 row seat here right? Want to make sure since i seem to have firmly hijacked this thread in 2 different directions. If we are talking about the 3rd row you will need to fold the floor up and look to see what they have given you. For my car there was no places for the bottom seat cushion to latch into. The seat back bolts to the side rail as does the cable holder and handle for the latch release. Now I think I had to drill holes for the last two but think there was holes for the seat back. I don't think there were any provisions for belts. They were pretty straight forward to put in though. I may be taking them out as I would like to lighten the car up and the seat back is pretty heavy. But still unsure of what I am doing. If you have more questions just ask.
thank you so much for your help. this has been very useful. Glad to see im not the only person with these ideas
