I've SEEN pics of a '81 (?) Impala or Caprice wagon (red) done in 2-door fashion, using the Impala /Caprice coupe of that vintage longer doors and quarter section, similar to what Wix is doing. Wasn't able to find it on the WWW....

    In the meantime......purloined photos.......

I believe I saw a listing of this '58 Chev for sale recently, in the San Diego area It's got a complete Impala interior, too.

:D Thanks. It looks like hell now with no motor in it, but it will live again before spring.(y)

You'll just need a 2 door donor car for all the stuff to do the conversion and a lot of creativity.

Now, I have said it before and I'll repeat it again. The previous owner did the conversion from 4 to 2 doors. I saw the photo album and it looked like a LOT of work. From the pics I saw how it was done so if you need tips, let me know.(y)

Been that way for many years, just not easy to see all the time as its not real bad.

But Its battle damage, so I wear it proud ;)

[some dude got road rage, I bent my bumper n fender a bit, his car totaled when I drove through and ripped off his front end when he tried some police blocker move, then loses the court case and I pay 0 of the $15,000 they wanted.]

This beautiful '64 is a real work of art. Saw it at the Buick Nationals in '09. The guy that made it is a master...he got the proportions just right, shortening it a few inches, and making sure the C-pillar is lined up with the roof windows perfectly. And then he installed a supercharged V-6 from a late '90's Riviera, mounted longitudinally. My only disappointment with it is that he didn't make the back seat foldable for cargo. He said it can be done, but requires major unbolting on the back seat panel.
The interior is white vinyl in GS form...buckets and console.
All in all, the coolest Sport Wagon on the planet!

    David :)

Well, someone obviously beat me to the 58 Nomad Build I've been planning...

I want to see more of this one. Gonna have to look it up on the HAMB.

That is beautiful. Haven't seen it before. You'll need to take some pics along side it with yours when it's done.
