I know these go for big $ if nice, but i don't recall one this high, so Ill post it here. 1966 Lincoln Continental Convertible for sale on BaT Auctions - sold for $128,000 on September 15, 2022 (Lot #84,459) | Bring a Trailer
$128,000! Was this an Elvis car, or Sinatra? I don’t get it at all. Not even sure about that interior. That was two guys who were definitely in a duel.
Looked at the history. As I suspected the winner and basically one other bidder took this car from $51,000 to $128,000. I find a delicious irony that the winning bidder was “diaperman”. I would certainly need one if I realized at the end I probably paid a $70,000 premium for a car with too fat whitewalls, and maybe a questionable interior.
Exactly . Here is a similar one with "stock" interior for $70,000 . I think 66 is last year for 4 door convertible, so that might add some?? 1965 Lincoln Continental Convertible for sale on BaT Auctions - sold for $70,000 on August 28, 2022 (Lot #82,798) | Bring a Trailer
This is such a nicer car for nearly half the money. Actually’67 was the last year, but they’re identical minus the fender star. Plus you got the flower pot steering wheel in ‘67 lol.
Well this one isnt $100,000 or anything, but can anyone explain this? 45k-Mile 1975 AMC Pacer D/L for sale on BaT Auctions - sold for $22,000 on September 28, 2022 (Lot #85,812) | Bring a Trailer Sold for $22,000???? ?
I just overtook one of those with an older couple in it, it looked like it resided in a climate-controlled garage, but is it $22K? Maybe in a decade.
Another candidate for your consideration - Velocity Heritage Series F250 - Starting at $325,000 https://www.velocityrestorations.com/for-sale/ford-f-series/velocity-heritage-series-f250/
Well in a decade that’ll be a bargain as a loaf of bread will be $39.50, and a gallon of gas will be $97.99.
