1991 Ford Taurus Wagon

Very similar to the '88 Taurus GL wagon we bought from our local Ford Dealer's lot in early 1989. Same color, even. This one has the same engine that ours had - the bulletproof 3.8 V6, finally adapted to FWD. I wouldn't have bought the wagon without it.

This was the wagon we bought right after our 1984 Colony Park burned up in Las Vegas.

For me, I liked the Taurus.....except for the upholstery. Reminded me of the mohair upholstery in my aunt's 48 Plymouth. Attracted A LOT of static electricity.....and I HATE static electricity - have a real phobia about it.

Later in the year, our second daughter arrived, and money got tight. We sold the wagon, and downsized temporarily to an '88 Olds Ciera, then a '86 Dodge Colt Vista.

Wow, that is a bargain. Those were great cars. This one looks really clean underneath.
