Wow! This one is an absolute time capsule, beautiful color combo and loaded! 307 Olds V8 I guess and 4 speed OD? Seller might get their price on this one to the right buyer. :thumbs2:

There was recently an 88 Electra Estate on eBay with 33,000 miles that sold for over 9 grand. I love the look of the leather in these.

Looks absolutely stunning! For a collector who values originality and high option content, this one would be very difficult to beat at any price!

My sister just traded her sweet little Mustang GT conv for a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe......she could have had this for the same money I bet, maybe less!

Yes, this should be as good as it gets for a 1990 Buick Estate Wagon.

Well ladies and gentlemen, after much negotiation, I have finally purchased this Buick wagon!!!! I have been looking for a nice Electra wagon for a long time.

I found this car last March. I emailed the owner's son-in-law several times, but never got more than two photos. I finally spoke briefly with the owner who told me some of the history of the car. He was on vacation. I explained that I was still interested. He agreed to call me back. That was the end. I never heard from him again. The ad disappeared and I assumed the car had been sold.

Fast forward to October. The car comes up for sale again. I sent an email. The son-in-law remembered me and had retained our previous correspondence. This time, however, there were pictures.

After several emails and a couple of phone calls, the negotiations began. I made an offer. The owner counter-offered, but I was budging. All this was being done via email. When I finally got him on the phone, we were able to reach an agreement.

I sent the money and I have contacted a transport company. The car may actually be picked up this week.

I'll go over her with a fine-toothed comb once she arrives. I hope she meets my expectations. I'll post some photos as soon as I can.

Considering the mileage, options and condition, I don't think I could have found a better one.

However, on a sad note, I will probably have to part with one of my other cars that I have owned for many years. It's a 1956 Cadillac. I don't have the room for them all and it is getting nearly impossible to find someone to work on cars from the '50's. Here's a link to some photos. It's sure going to be hard to let it go.

When you get to the website with the photos, click on the magnifying glass with the plus (+) at the top right hand corner of the photo. This will allow you to view the larger versions.

Outstanding Professor! I was just wondering how it would be if I could have managed to snag this jewel! Look forward to hearing all about it when it gets to you and seeing plenty of detail :camera:.

That's a nice looking Fleetwood Prof...factory AC too! Does it still work well? What's the deal with the 2 plastic looking tube things coming off the rear package shelf?

Thanks. She is an original survivor. It does have factory AC and it still blows cold. The plastic tubes connect the rear AC unit in the trunk with ductwork on either side of the roof. There are vents over each door that allow the AC to blow down onto the passengers. Each blower is controlled separately allowing you to turn one side down or completely off while the other side remains on.

Congrats, Professor, on your purchase. I'm green with envy.

I felt good about my Cadillac when I got it. It had only 61K miles and it's a 1987 model...not quite as pristine as the Estate you just bought, but pretty close. I've always loved these Cadillacs (and the Buick Estate Wagons, as well) and finding one that looks like it has been untouched by time is a great feeling. I'm sure you'll enjoy every second.

    Well done! (y)

Man, that Caddy is a beauty! Didn't realize how loaded with equipment they were back then. Surprised to see a trip odometer.....

She is loaded with options including: factory AC , Autronic Eye (automatically dims and brightens headlights), power windows, power seat, power antenna, wonderbar radio, fog lights, power steering and power brakes.

The radio and antenna are the only two options that are not working right now.

I will honestly have a hard time letting her go.
