Great looking wagon 81X11. Hope you wash the salt off after each trip to the beach. Life's a beach for cars. ----------- Tireman, tell your wife those woods are full of gators, snakes, and poison ivy. And Marie laVoue.:biglaugh:-------81X11, that 307 don't have enough power to get over that chock in front of the tire! Or is that a taco?

-The only trouble I had with the one 307 I had was bad valves. Put 305 heads on it and Edlebrock 600 and wasn't too bad.

As of the end of this post I'm busy for the rest of the day but I'll pop in for coffee breaks., I'm not getting set up to work to pack up later, I'm busy for the next 4 days. If I get a call back I'll try to view tommorow morning as i will be going to work and then bring old man Kirby to the vet. If I can't view it tommorow before noon I'm writing this on off till I get back from Toronto and or as a 'it wasn't ment to be"

    Missed you, Mike....
What happened to your CC? (I'm sure you mentioned it, but I forgot..)
And guys - did you notice the steering wheel change? Was that off a Cutlass Ciera SL?

In 2008 when the economy tanked my salary was cut badly, and I had to sell off many of the toys in order to pay off bills and "re-adjust" to my new income. Can't gripe, glad to still have a job, but the Cruiser had to go, and it made me sick to sell it. I really loved it.

I sold it to a friend that buys and sells "cars of interest" out in Fredericksburg Tx. It worked out in the end, he's the guy I got my T-top Cutlass from last year.

As for the steering wheel, it came off a 1985 Cutlass Salon, but I have the same wheel from the factory on my '88 Cutass Supreme Classic, and it was included on many Oldsmobiles with the FE3 suspension in the mid-to-late 80's. I love the design.

And here is how it looked the last time I saw the Cruiser. The guy I sold it too added red pin stripes to the bumpers and side chrome, blacked out the bare metal parts on the wheels, and added surfer stickers to the car....and removed my Wally World sticker. Boo. : (

It was sold at the San Antonio Leake Collector Car action as part of an "Olds set" with an early 70's 442. Went to an Olds collector in Witchita Kansas. I keep meaning to try to look him up.

That is a dam nice ride:bowdown:

I left another message this morning, the seller did call back last nite and left me a message, so now we are playing phone tag I guess.

I have a extra set of those wheels with the full size Olds caps, they would look good on the wagon....."if' I get it.

Nothing worse than having your wife in your ear, I guess for me it even harder because she is never in my ear:rofl2:...My wife said.."Don't put any $ down untill the tow truck hooks it up, and we don't have room for it till you get back from your trip"....... So I guess buying it is OK then:).

PS.... I got burned $50 once buy a snot nosed kid, for a wagon...live and learn;)

HEY! Quit playing phone tag and get over there and look at that wagon! :yup: I'm dying here to know what it's all about. For that money I would have been there the moment I saw the ad! My curiosity is killing me here. :biglaugh: And....for 200 bucks....that wagon isn't going to sit there forever. GO LOOK! :D

Well, I have a address and you cannot see the car or the house from the street, and I'm not gona "snoop" because my company is involved...potential customer, PR-Politics, and I'm not gona enter someones property without a OK witch I have not goton yet. If the car was viewable from the road side I mite, but it's not. I have it pritty good where I'm at and don't want to stir the pot on a $200 car vs- a fairly large $ job.........

Fox, It's like you said...for $200 I can't go wrong, even if it is toast. I can't wait to see it also. If it is toast, well it can live it's days in my barn as a parts car for the many things it and my Buick share. Hell, if it's toast and has all the AC I can put that in the Buick witch had the AC removed years ago. Thats worth the $200 rite there.
