1986 Pontiac Parisienne Safari Wagon for sale on BaT Auctions - ending February 12 (Lot #136,198) | Bring a Trailer
Once these took on the 'Parisienne' name, they really weren't Pontiacs. They had the Chevy dash, and looked like a Chevy from the front, with a slightly different grill. Still had the Pontiac tail lights though. Has the same type steering wheel I had in my Bonneville, too.
Normally, only if it was an Olds Custom Cruiser, which was the only 'box wagon' to have matching upholstery on the third seat as standard. On all the others, vinyl was standard on the third seat, regardless of what you had on the other two. This one must have got it for a few bucks on the option list. Couldn't have been that much.......
so that’s how that worked. Matching cloth on the third seat was an option. I have always wondered why there was an inconsistency as such that most box wagons have a vinyl third seat, but occasionally I would see cloth.
