A little more progress over the weekend. So, I've got a large hole now... And now I don't: I got rushed while painting, so it's not great... but it shouldn't rust immediately. I'll get some seam sealer on it next and it should be good to go. One more step done that I needed to do before putting the engine in.
Suspension is now back together. Front: Rear: And I rolled it out of the garage so I can work on my kid's car. Obviously, no engine so the nose is up pretty high. One of the best parts of home ownership are unexpected 5-figure repair bills, and that's going to delay me a bit from working on this project. My son's '71 Mercedes project is now in the garage. Hopefully we'll have that done by June and the wagon will go back in to get the engine swap done.
Life has a way of changing plans for you. Stay with it, looking forward to seeing things done on this.
