@elB I totally forgot, but come to think of it, when I was in my teens our drug dealing next door neighbour had a black '72 LeMans convertible with a white top and interior, a 350 and a 4-speed! Sometimes I still see it cruising through the neighbourhood I'm in now...probably to make deliveries somewhere. Back then, he had a drug runner who would go into his apartment with an empty pizza box delivery warmer bag and leave with it full. I wonder what they were doing??? Hmmmmmm... lol
Y'never know! Again though, if this thing somehow miraculously hits $10,000 I'm going to scream. I mean, with only 29k miles and in that condition, it might be one of the best examples of a K-car left, but still. I just can't wrap my head around five figures for one. I don't think it'll get there, but crazier things have happened in this market. However, if it stays at $4,700, all things said, I'd actually consider that well-bought. Who knew an auction for a K-car would generate this much discussion?
Yeah these were pretty uninspiring in their day but I was surprised at how many people would come up and talk to me about memories of family members who drove them or they learned to drive in one, even having one as a beater while they were in school. I was also surprised at and a little embarrassed were all the pictures that were taken of it, my 7 Litre never got that much obvious attention.

even considering it is a V6 with a 5-speed manual trans. I am surprised by the selling price. It has to be better driving experiance than my Wifes old 1988 Topaz AWD. At least I hope it is for that price.
They were fair-handling. And that's being charitable, the bloody b*stards were so danged hard for me to get in and out of.
