Yeah, WTF is that about..... what is the seller hiding??? Puts a whack load of good pics of the car, but hides the engine claiming it "will" look like.....

    RED FLAG IMO

He does have one picture of the cars engine compartment, the 1st one. He states that the engine compartment is going to get the same treatment as the one in the pictures below the 1st picture.
So I do not think he is hiding anything. Why you would not wait until after you had performed the "full engine compartment detail" and then post the car for auction is beyond me. But I don't see it as hiding anything as 1 shot of the actual engine compartment is in the ad.
Very Nice car, but I could not enjoy it as driving it would take all the value out of an over priced car. And I am not a show guy. I get dragged to 1 or 2 shows a year. Mostly to just get a chance to hang out with my show car buddies. My cars do no have a chance to win anything as I refuse to detail the chassis, and I drive them to and from the shows.
Cars like this one need to be trailerd, and pampered. And that is just not me.
A Big issue the 79 and later full size Pontiac's have with the Pontiac Collectors is no Pontiac 350 or 400 engine option. (301 pontiac's just do not cut it) Pontiac collectors tend to put non Pontiac engined cars into the "corperate engine trash bin" If this car was a 77 or 78 with a 400 Pontiac V-8 the seller would have a better chance of meeting his reserve in my opinion.
