I like this car a lot and even I think his price is crazy. He is adding a 5000% premium because of the manual transmission.

I agree, the steering wheel choice sux! And I think he is adding about 100% premium for the 4-speed manual trans. That said the only other 78-80 G-Body wagon I have seen was a V6 powered version with the 4-speed Saginaw. Interesting car for sure.

But after owning an 83 Cutlass Cruiser wagon, I just can not get past the combination of not having a tailgate window that rolls down, and the non opening rear door windows. Made for a not friendly dog hauler. The Greyhounds were much happier when I replaced it with my old 78 Impala Wagon.

I think adding money for the manual transmission may have been legit years ago, but now that aftermarket clutch pedal assemblies are available it isn't as much of an adder unless you absolutely have to have an original manual transmission car (and for this car who cares?). I'd probably swap the four speed out for a TKX or T56 anyway.

Rarity doesn't always mean 'higher value'. The 4-speed manual is not enough by itself to make it worth that much more.

If the seller could source some factory bucket seats and a console, I think that would help a bit.
If the engine were a 350 or possible a transplanted 396/454, that would help even more.

With those changes, it's value, IMO, might be around $28k.......... But i still wouldn't buy it, for all the reasons that Jeff indicated.
