Gorgeous, gorgeous, loaded wagon with what looks like very available option including the very rare (and expensive) Estate Wagon Limited option! :yahoo:

    Beautiful Buick! :dancing:

Has the crushed velour Park Avenue front seat upholstery with vinyl rear seat along with 3rd seat, cornering lights and fiber optics lamp monitors as well as the stylish, iconic chrome plated Buick road wheels! :D

Priced sky high, but where would you find another one like it?

I think this is the same spectacular 1978 Buick Estate Wagon Limited posted on SWF from late last year. It was priced at around $10k at the time as best I remember!

    Whatever, she's a beaut! :)

Love the 3-point steering wheel inherited from the '74-76 Caddys.

Whoever gets that won't be the least bit disappointed I'm sure. That looks like the same place a solid black '80s Custom Cruiser was offered, also on Hemmings.

Cannot picture a better late 1970s GM box wagon at this point 35 years later. :yup:

Were I selling this one, I would have a quite high asking price on it, to eliminate the ones who don't love these cars, but be very prepared to be very reasonable for the right buyer. A car like this is deserves careful preservation.

Yes, this very, very beautiful car has been extraordinarily well preserved for these past 35 years! It deserves a great new home! (y)

Very pretty car! And yes with the telescope option the Buicks got the Caddy-style steering wheel.

Oh and the vinyl second-row seat was optional through the mid-80's on the Buicks. Easier to clean up after Junior with it, but I still think it looks wrong with the cloth front seat.

    VERY nice car!

Yeah and it was interesting that this wheel had been used in the Cadillac since 1974 was being used in some of these late 70s Buicks. I wonder if they had too many of them and had to use them up and decided to put in these wagons, or the "Limited" models in general?

The 3-spoke steering wheel was part of the Limited Estate option. The four-place front fender venti-ports were the exterior tip-off that it was the Estate Wagon Limited option.

Cool. Sure is a luxurious wagon. I wasn't sure if they may have used it in the Electra Park Avenue Limited sedan as well or not.
