400 V8. Price is outrageous - looks very NON-original. http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/dealer/pontiac/grand-safari/1832504.html
Almost everything posted on the Hemmings site is overpriced. You pretty much have to think that what you've got for sale is God's gift to mankind before forking out the money to post there versus posting for free on craigslist. Also, the seller is a dealer, which also pretty much always means an over-the-top asking price.
Also now wasting time on cars-on-line. http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/dallas/1977/pontiac/grand-safari-S143.html
Well at least they did a good job replacing the wood...even if it's not the RIGHT wood. Price is insane...and I love these cars.
Great, they changed the listing at the second web address to "Wagon". I reported the one at the first link too for this error, woohoo. Hopefully they'll fix it.
Often times a 3rd party contacts a seller and gets them to pay to have their car listed on multiple sites, whether the car sells or not. It may be that if a 3rd party is involved there's not a huge motivation to sell the car.
